Wash? This is my truck after one day. I can't drive gravel roads and keep it clean. I gave up and just wash it when we go nice places.

I got confused reading this post as I didn't even know there was a screen option to shift into neutral. I've always just pushed up to the first "detent" on the shift stalk.
Concur - shift stalk was only method I knew and it works reliably.

Using automatic car wash at least twice a week

1. Use the stalk to put it in neutral. (I have never use the screen to put it on neutral).
2. Immediately put the car in car wash mode then fold the mirrors by use the upper left short cut icons.
3. put on drive when done and it will automatically take car wash mode off if you drive above 10 mph.

You don't even need to rush to put it into Car Wash Mode. You can drive upto 5 mph before the mode deactivates itself. So you can activate it first, creep along in the queue and up to the front of the line. Then, up-stalk to N when it's your turn to take a bath.

I've gone down the highway and coasted putting it in neutral. Going back to drive you have to feed in throttle

The car wash I use is one they drive it through. I have not taken my T there yet, so this should be fun. Maybe the car wash kids already know how to put a Rivian in neutral. If they don't, I am worried they will have trouble based on what people are posting here.

One thing I've learned from this thread, although I haven't tried it yet (AND it should have been obvious to me), is that you don't need to put your foot on the brake to put the Rivian in neutral. Every time I go to the car wash (which is 1-2 times a week because it's so convenient and I have a monthly pass), I'd put it in car wash mode when I go through the reader to open the gate and then put my foot on the brake when I get the "attendant wave" to put it in neutral. I realized that I was doing it because the touchscreen required it and never changed when I switched to using the stalk!
