New Air Cruiser RTT

Received my Air Cruiser RTT. Had jumped into the Kickstarter campaign quite a while back. My daughter (14) already slept in it to "test" it out. She loved it.

Very light, 80lbs, and fits nicely over the bed. Plug in the built in compressor, quite quiet btw, and in a few minutes it's up and ready. Big volume inside, and takes maybe 2 minutes to put down and fold away.

Any questions, I'll do my best to answer, just thought I'd share as it's new to the RTT space as far as I know.

Is there any room to leave a thin blanket in side when closing up or pretty snug? I am still shopping for a tent and I have seen in some videos people are able to leave some bedding inside when moving locations. Leaning towards this route mostly due to the weight and my infrequent use.

Thanks for sharing. I should take delivery soon. I've been holding off on an awning purchase because I want the awning mounted to the roof and extending back partially over the bed. Looks like the awning will clear the side of the Air Cruiser based on your photos. It's all coming together!

@defcon888 You will fit just fine as the tent is 83 inches long inside. It is bigger than it looks in these photos.

@Dark-Fx, I agree about the brackets. I do believe the manufacturer mentioned locking brackets coming and perhaps those will be a better fit.

My wifes idea of camping is "room service" and a shower and warm bed......LOLOL

Yes, there is room for something thin.

Yes, these are the included clamps. I'll have to see what other options are available, and preferably something that can lock.

We don't advise leaving your bedding in but it's a 1 minute job to get it in and out

You'll be absolutely fine at 6'2", there's even room for you to grow a little ?

The clamps are universal and will work just fine with the Rivian. We're happy to work with the community to develop something more suitable if you wish though ? We advertised as the perfect fit for the Rivian on the back of it being a great fit for the truck bed and the fact it looks great on the eye when paired up with one ? The Rivian market is too niche to fully develop an RTT specifically but we're very in touch with our customers and are more than up for developing things like brackets to suit your needs. We are developing a locking system as well. The brackets do work fine as well though ?

We can sort the shower and warm bed but you'll have to deliver the french toast ?
