Rivian will fix this for you. I had a few issues at delivery and they did a good job addressing them.Any easy DIY solutions? I don’t even see the sensors…
Sigh…ticket #3 submitted!
I have had three or four instances of auto high beam turning itself off.No. Only one driver. Can literally get in, turn on auto high beams, drive a few minutes with them working great, stop to get out, get back in car 2 minutes later, auto high beams are turned off. Nothing else has changed.
No. Mine has almost 40k and I don't have any little things that don't work, so I think once you get these corrected, you should be very good from then forward.Update: So after about 100 failed frunk closure attempts (“frunk flunks”?), I’ve been manually closing all day. Just gave the button a push for the heck of it and…it closed!
So that’s two of the three issues resolved on their own. At least temporarily.
Question for you Rivian vets: should I expect all these little things to intermittently not work? And when things don’t work then magically do, does it tend to happen again (and should I take it into the service center if it isn’t actively malfunctioning)?
This is all new to me. And slightly annoying.
Yes, on a service center visit for something else the easily fixed it - said the liner was out of place. No issues since!Did your frunk closure issue 'stay fixed?' I had a mobile service tech come repair mine today and it's an incredibly easy fix -- wanted to sure if you need it. You basically just squeeze the pinch sensors hard against the outside of the body with the frunk open.
