Bummer on the “infant mortality“ on your vehicle. Hoping that Rivian gets you back on the road soon.

Dual or quad?

My observation is that the dual motor is going through what quads did initially. It is totally expected to have infant mortality as mentioned above.

Sorry to see your having an issue. Rivian will get you fixed up! I think that is a wheel sensor. Have seen that before from another forum member.

No. I just have 25+ yrs of product development. Anything brand new goes through this type of failure because pre-production test cannot cover all scenarios. They use statical analysis using data sampling from actual tests that tests planned cases.

Also can happen due to small part anomaly or slightly out of spec. Again happens with new parts.

That's why I said it's totally expected.
