So I know it’s not directly related, but has anyone seen a comparison of how the 21” wheels with aerodeflectors does in comparison to without?

Right, that's really just a functional range metric - i.e. can we live with this? The Rivian is a guzzler because of it's size and form factor relative to most EVs which are much smaller, same as in the ICE world. There's not a lot of apples to apples comparisons yet, but when there are, you'll find it's actually not. For example, the T is more efficient than a Lightning and the S will be just as efficient as the EXC 90 from Volvo, perhaps more so once we learn of the stats on the dual motor which is more comparable to the Volvo. Then, if you consider that even in Dual Motor form, it beats the pants off both of those performance wise, it's equivalent to getting a V8 with the same gas mileage as a V6 competitor.Interesting, thanks for the insight. Honestly, my real efficiency metric has been: Does a 70% charge give us plenty for a typical day of driving (i.e., still have at least 15-20% when we plug in at night), and can we still do our favorite road trips without needing to charge more than once each way? The answer is yes and yes, so I can forgive the Rivian for being an electron guzzler (compared to the vast majority of EVs on the market).
