Ocean Coast Black Headliner

I wish RIvian would add the option to put a black headliner w/ the Ocean Coast interior. This was an option when I configured my Land Rover Defender. I think it is a much better look and way easier to keep clean. Which one do you think looks better?

It just feels so much more aerie and open. I really liked the lighter wood as well.

I dropped OC when they switched to black wood. My favorite thing about it was the warmth it added to the cabin it just looks much more sterile now. The wood accents actually have a bit of blue tone which almost feels like it adds more to the black than the white.

I still like the white leather/etc but everything looks great when it's super new and clean, but I'm not sure I'll have the patience to keep perforated white pleather seats showroom clean.

I drove an OC interior'd one and I quite liked the natural ash.

Having seen swatches of the material in person in Venice, CA its much more Grey than white. Just an FYI.

I prefer white but I voted black as I’ve had white headliner in the past and it forces you to be careful when loading large items.

Well, you can buy the Black Mountain headliner from the salvaged R1T posted here and DIY a black headliner with Ocean Coast.

The light headliner is the only thing that kept me from choosing OC. it's just too bright

Well, you can buy the Black Mountain headliner from the salvaged R1T posted here and DIY a black headliner with Ocean Coast.

Now you just have to find a crashed Forest Edge R1T and steal the wood dash. You'd have a unicorn R1T with the ultimate color combo.

White (gray) headliner is the ONLY reason i didn't choose OC. I had gray in both my GTIs and no matter what i did it was dirty within a few years and couldn't be cleaned.

Black headliner for life now
