I wonder how the extender hooks up to the battery. I'm LOLing imagining a charging cable sticking out of the NACS port while driving.

The pricing for the only model that is being delivered is essentially $87500 plus whatever accessories they may be be adding as options. Will be fun to watch the Tesla cultists defend it.

But I'm actually more interested to see how it performs in real world situations and get some feedback on the build quality.

I don't think it poses much threat to Rivian's sales.

That's beyond an abomination. Forget the tire location, but rather focus on the useless bed with that damn sloping front wall and side "wings". No loading from the side, that's for sure!

Only things redeeming about the CT right now is the upgraded 48v/800 architecture, the vehicle to home/ powershare capability, and steer by wire otherwise this is a mediocre reveal after all of that.

The power inverter is similar to Fords, certainly a plus. Did they say if that was a standard feature across all models or is it optional?

Yeah, they essentially traded the utility of the gear tunnel in favor of being able to fudge the bed size #s.

Something that is overlooked about Rivian, is they managed to fit a much larger battery (max pack), still have the gear tunnel, 4-motors, and spare tire storage in the bed.

Tesla with their 10 year lead and "advanced battery technology" wasn't able to do the same. Maybe the range extended turns out to be a larger battery pack in the same space, but it sounds like some time of compromise which will be stored in the bed.

Yep, they fudged a lot. Did you see the hilarious fake 10,000+ ft-lb torque number claimed; and that is with less HP than the R1T quad. Guess the Charlatan can create his own physics and the blind followers will buy it as fact. ?
