Allright folks, like many of you who are still waiting to get their hands on their R1T I am very interested in what physical hardware changes Rivian is making to the R1T in the factory.

Over the last few months we have seen reports about batteries (changing from 2 to 1) suspension components (welded vs casted) compressor upgrades, and the list goes on.

I am starting this thread so we can keep track of everything in one place so that those of us who are curious about what the latest and greatest is can save time and not have to filter through the entire forum.

Wow, I had not heard about the driver monitor camera or the hands free driving. Thanks for the 411!

Heard from a Rivian Guru based in Normal who happened to be at the the Richmond, VA Service Center while I was there months ago. He seemed very knowledgable and had detailed pics on his phone of R1T VINs 1 & 2 that participated in Long Way Up with Charley & Ewan

• Frunk divider panel goes from two retention magnets to one
• Two horns horns to one (lower front bumper each side - don't know which side gets one horn)
• Two batteries to one + capacitor

Bonus Info: He told me that the original center console charging pad worked really well...so much so that it wiped cards and whatnots

Bed lights were changed early production from an opaque lens to a clear one. Not sure if the underlying hardware is different or if it's just the lens.

The back of the seat on the USB surround was wood, now its plastic
