It’s one tap. Then wait a half second to second. Works every time.

Same, but it's more like 2-4 seconds. People long pressing / double tapping must be very impatient

This has been one of the best daily-life improvements to the truck since I got it. Before this update it was hit or miss if opening the door would actually work and sometimes I had to drive right up to the door before it would trigger. Now, as long as the message is displayed on the driver screen, it just works...every time. Hit the button on the wheel and 1-2s later the door starts moving. I didn't realize how great this was until the 2023.42.0 debacle crippled my truck and I actually had to use a manual opener again.

That is my experience as well. UI pops up as I pull in my driveway. Pressing it immediately does nothing, wait 3-5 seconds and it works. Very odd behavior, hopefully Rivian can improve performance.

My one touch garage door worked initially after the update but as of 4/29/24 it no longer shows up when I approach my house or when I get in my R1T to leave.
I also lost my center vehicle button on my map display (with the up date) if I move the map in any way. It will recenter if I have a route set up in the display WHEN it gets to a navigation turn point. If I don't have a route in the only way to center it (that I’ve found) is by initiating a route, once it starts it will center then I cancel the route.

I have been experiencing a new strange behavior also. When I click the button as I'm approaching the house, the garage door starts to go up. But then about a second into it, the garage door stops. It's as if a second signal is being sent from the transmitter and stopping the door from continuing to raise.

After I initially programmed it a year go, this didn't happen. But then it started about six months in. I deleted all garage doors and then reprogrammed them, but it's still happening.

Has this happened to anyone else? FYI -- I have Linear garage door openers.

I'm going to try the solution of using the amazon garage door openers to reprogram it again to see if that helps.
