I have 5 doors programmed but I have to be careful as I drive within range, that the correct door shows up on the screen. Can't tell you how many times that I have opened the wrong door by just pressing the wrong door when it comes up on the screen...

Yes and I assume the OP works for people with garage wifi. Frankly I would be more comfortable with the garage opener reasonably secured on a personal phone vs possible random driver of the vehicle.

I have two garages and a gate programmed. All LiftMaster equipment tied in with cameras and MyQ phone app. Yes all needs wifi.

Seeing the headline, I was thinking "zeroth world problems", but the use case here is actually a legit use case.

But the big question is - what did you do before having the Rivian? A ton of clickers? Three "HomeLInk" buttons plus slightly fewer clickers?

It sounds like the primary complaint here is "Rivian said you can do 16" so while still in a position better than pre-Rivian, not as good as expectations were set. As others have pointed out, Gen 1 supports 16, Gen 2 only supports 8. So sounds like whomever you spoke to at Rivian didn't hear that Gen 2 has a lower limit.

Nobody -- that I know of -- has been successful getting a Ghost gate opener programed.
