The update to the timeline was pushed back. My timeline is still saying "Processing estimate".

Yes it was an email which I just can't find at the moment (must have deleted it). It was saying something like,

"Any changes to your configuration ...(forgot the words here)... will be reflected in the next scheduled update in August."

So, another month to wait to have the new estimate.

Ha ok... you meant the next update had been pushed back, - sorry, I had misread the post you had quoted yeah, saw a few posts saying that on here, personally I never got an e-mail, either a technical issue or no, its not changed for everyone then. I thought you meant you had received an updated estimate and that it had been changed.

I am hoping the oct-dec will stick for me either tomorrow or in a month, but I have to say the 560km distance to Vaughan Mills is a bit scary if they stipulate we will be on the hook for transport if anything goes sideways...

I think they're planning something big for Canada. They can't keep pushing everything over. The more they wait, the more they lose money.

Had I ordered my vehicle today as opposed to 2021, it would cost me 40K extra. The quicker they fill orders, the lesser they lose to inflation. Let's be patient.

Speaking of which, if we downgrade our drivetrains to performance dual-motor, we get 700$ off. Made me smile. I am considering the downgrade because of the increased range... range is important for us Northerners. Can't wait to get real-life feedback on that dual-motor drivetrain.

Maybe they finally have figured out something for mobile service.

Maybe they finally have figured out something for mobile service.

That would make a lot of sense. If they weren't suddenly serious about (non-BC) Canada, they wouldn't postpone the delivery window updates by a month. We'd be getting the same old "precessing guesstimate" messages we've been receiving since Christopher Columbus discovered India.

Dropped by the SC yesterday around 3:45 hoping to chat with someone about how they were doing against the October timeline but there was no one to be seen.


I hope that they all went home early and that this is not some delay inducing supply chain problem.

Anyway, progress is being made with drywall up in the customer area, the shop has been painted white and it looks like insulation is next. Outside, excavation has begun for the bank of chargers.

I’m starting to get a bit sceptical about the October completion date.

Things can go pretty quickly from this point if they can get the contractors on site regularly... There's very little for them to build out in these SCs

Did everyone get their delivery estimate refresh pushed back to end of August? Or just the folks in Ontario due to the slow progress of the service centre?

Our SC seems to be moving along at a good pace, Albertas has s-l-o-w-e-d to a complete stop…I think the Aug 30th push is for everybody across the board, not just Ontario.

talked with some on-site guys today.

it’s going to be completed by October. They were very skeptical of my questions but that’s probably because they’re not used to car enthusiasts.

they have the charging stations close to completion regarding rough in.
Transformers are on-site and even equipment for car lifts to be installed.

I dropped by the future Rivian Dealership on my way home from a trip to Canada’s wonderland. I was hoping for some new construction but didn‘t see much. The windows were covered in paper and looks pretty much the same as the previous comment. Perhaps work is being done inside.
