Does Rivian offer home delivery - I am in Ottawa and given the distance would prefer home delivery if the cost was reasonable.

I am picking up my LE R1T on Friday, and from what I have seen in my paperwork, yes they can, but at a cost of approx. CAD$1400.

Does anyone know if the Launch Edition R1T in the Ontario R1 shop are early 2023 builds or were they built later in 2023?

Probably early 23s. Mine was built in January

But they are the same so not sure it matters?

They charge $1600 for delivery to Ottawa.

Seemed like a lot to me, we drove to Vaughan and back. Wasn't too bad. 4.5 hrs each way taking it easy.

Do you know if your Launch Edition has the Meridian sound system or the elevation sound system? The build date would only matter for any changes Rivian made mid year such as the sound system and going from two 12V batteries to one. Ultimately it's a 2023 model year so from a resale factor that is the only thing that matters & not actual build date. The Launch Edition has the wheel updates which is of interest for me since I would prefer the 22" inch over the 21" for winter tire options hence why I am really considering buying a launch edition in my R1 shop as the pricing is great also.

I will probably drive to Vaughan to pick up also. Any concerns about no mobile service tech in Ottawa yet? Once Montreal opens I think it will be easier for us than needing to go to Toronto for service

Mine has Meridian there is no way to tell until you pick it up. If it was built after March it won't have it.

Forget about resale value a 23 vs 24 is going to be $1000? The longer you hold it the less it matters.

I was told they would send a mobile tech eventually....

Hey GTA-based R1T owners: TuxMat is looking for an R1T owner willing to let them scan their vehicle so they can produce floor mats for the R1T. I'm sure there are many R1T owners that would be very grateful if someone had the time to help out TuxMat and the rest of us so they can make some lovely mats to sell us!
