how did D'Avico's do? do they have the "pucks". I live nearby and great to know they can do it. Just took delivery last week...
seems to be a resurrected old thread but I also used D'Avico's in April. They have the pucks and took 30 min.

Did they record the right mileage. I went last year for my first inspection and they recorded the wrong odometer reading. Otherwise they did a good job.

It's right across from the Farmers' Market. My wife loves to go there. I guess for me, it's a win-win situation where I can drop off my wife at the Farmers' Market and my car across the street for the state inspection at the same time.

I'm getting mine inspected next week at Livezey's Auto Diagnostics in Lahaska, PA. I don't really see why they would even need to put it on the lift at all. With "high" ride height you can see everything you need for the safety inspection. I have 4 of the pucks but I encouraged them to just use the air suspension and save themselves some time.

EDIT: Added photo (should have included it initially)

As long as we're resurrecting this thread, I'll add my update.

I bought four 275/60R20 General HTS-60 AS tires from my local shop, Jone's Liberty in Milmont Park here in Delco. I also bought an inexpensive set of wheels from Tire Rack (MSW Type 52 that look very similar to the dark wheels used by Rivian on the AT upgrade and are less than $250 each) and brought them to Jone's to mount the tires on. Very pleased with the look and reduced noise of the new wheel/tire combo and am starting to see slight gains in efficiency as0 well. I did have to supply jack pucks and I ran the service manager through the routine, both to remove the covers and use the pucks (to which he said "this is the same thing we used to have to do with some Corvettes!) and how to put the car in tire change mode. I've been using this place for years and they did their usual good job.

Oh, and while the shop was doing the tire work, I had them do the PA safety inspection, so all legal in the Commonwealth now. I don't hesitate to recommend this shop for the state safety inspection, with the caveat that you'll need to provide pucks for them to check the brake pads.

Here's a photo of the new wheels and tires on the truck:

Take it to any Jiffy Lube. They just drive it over their trench and do the entire inspection without having to put it on a lift. I've done it with 3 Teslas, and now a Rivian.

Nice wheels and good to have another local recommendation.

New setup looks nice, giving my ideas for my Limestone... How are you liking them a few months later? What did the whole setup cost?

I like the look; it's a reasonable facsimile of the Rivian Black wheel/Scorpion AT tire that the car was delivered with. Very happy overall. Here's a close-up:
Rivian R1T R1S PA Inspection Question 1726832327792-d2

The tires are 60 series which have more sidewall than the stock tire, and the ride is less harsh than with the Pirelli's, though handling probably suffers a bit. The noise level is quite a bit lower, something also much appreciated. The overall wheel/tire diameter is very close to that of the OEM 21" combination which, in conjunction with the less aggressive AS tread pattern, gives the R1T slightly better range.

The cost was relatively modest, with the whole package, including all taxes, fees, labor and a PA state safety inspection just under $2,500. I purchased the wheels from Tire Rack and the TPMS from Atomic Wheels and brought everything to the service station. I bought the tires from the service station and had them do the installation, which they needed my jack pucks to do. The approximate breakdown:
Wheels: MSW Type 52 (Tire Rack, warehouse pickup) - $278 each
Tires: General Grabber HTS60 (275/60R20 - 116T) - $240 each
TPMS: (BH Sens) - $40 each

I think I mentioned in an earlier post that I kept the stock wheels and tires and plan to swap the set for use during the winter. Since the Generals will be on the truck most of the year, I probably should have mounted them on the stock wheels and may do that next spring when it's time to take the Pirelli's off.
