Since the update, my Galaxy S20 is not always being detected in truck when I go to put in drive or reverse. It almost always worked fine prior to update.

I walk up to truck and take phone out of pocket (mine has always pretty much needed me to do this) and the truck unlocks. Then I get in and it says something like no key present.

Then I can get it back by cycling the bluetooth on and off phone.

It does seem more prevalent after I use an app remote command, like open frunk, or open locks from a distance.

Anybody else having it not work as good anymore since update?

If I cycle bluetooth and then scan and connect to all the Rivian bluetooth devices, it seems to fix it for a while.

I'm using an iPhone as a key so totally different ballgame, but I'm (ironically) finding it much less reliable than before the update.

Good to know. Phone ballgame different, but how the trucks are handling things maybe same.

I have an S21 and am having the same issue after the update. Wonder if its an overall issue with android phones or just effecting samsung.

I had the same issue with a Pixel 7 since the update. After restarting the phone now seems to be working normally again. Now, lets see if it stays that way.

I'm seeing the same thing - much less reliable than before the update. It's like back to the early days of the R1T for me - it used to be unreliable, then got very reliable, now back to unreliable.

I've had it happen a couple times. Force quitting the app and then restarting it seems to resolve things.

The is the annoying part....it was working so good....and now.....not. Sure I can find work around like resetting phone bluetooth, airplane mode, etc... but that defeats the whole purpose and who knows when that 30 second process allows for a car jacking or something....

I have an iPhone 13 and it’s done the same thing a couple times (both times at home). I didn’t try cycling Bluetooth, but locking and unlocking doors with the FOB allowed me to then use my PAAK.

Wife and I both have iPhones (12 and 13). Works like a charm. We both carry the cards for valet use but have never used the fob and she stopped wearing the wristband after the first few days.
