I'm in Colorado. I had the Clear Bra PPF scheduled for a cost of 1800. They are a Rivian partner for the clear bra. He didn't do any full vehicle wraps besides the matte, gloss or satin I think. That was 5k. Both reasonable. They recommended someone in Dener and to do the vinyl it was about 4500. To do PPF color it was about 7500. I will just be stick with green. I will just do the clear bra locally here then at some point get a R2S since I really don't need this big a vehicle and I really love my Rivian. Hopefully Rivian survives this next administration but really no one got the federal tax credit anyway when buying and not leasing. Really it isn't a bad color. My wife likes the blue I don't care for that. I do like the new darker blue they have that is nice. First world issues right.

I wrapped the hood on our bmw because the paint was burned from socal sun (black) and the insulation coming unclipped. I had to do it twice because some areas didn't stick. Had to take it off and wet sand the hood as it was so far gone. Now can't tell it was wrapped. Wrap is very doable!

Seems like a vinyl wrap would be a good solution
This is what I would suggest. Then if/when you sell it the new owner can restore the factory color if they wish.

Whatever you decide to do be sure to come back and post pics! ?

Anyone out do just the vinyl instead of the PPF? How has it held up over the years? I'm considering that since it is way cheaper. I don't think I will be selling anytime soon. I think the R2 would be nice but pretty happy with my R1.

Asking for more advise. I recently saw a vehicle at a dealer and with my trade which wasn't terrible and the price of the 2023 R1S. Mine is a 2022 Launch Edition it is about a 9k difference maybe a little bit more. I get the color I want, 12k less miles and 2023. I know there isn't much different between the years. I only have to pay sales tax on the difference.
Would you do it or just spend 5k to vinyl wrap it? That is my latest quote.
