I’m a recent R1T 2023 owner. I bought her last November directly from Rivian. I guess I fall into the nerd category. Can you get information on your vehicle’s sleep from the Rivian app? Searching the app I did find my L2 charging is set for 18amps. Must have been set by Rivian. I have got in the habit of plugging in when home. Max battery. I requested her service history and see the 12v battery was replaced April 2024

With the app you can see the current state of the vehicle but not the history. If it is sleeping you see a moon/stars symbol. I signed up for a RivianRoamer account and that give a very good history of the state of the vehicle. RivianRoamer also tracks many other things like drive statistics and charging. I've found it pretty useful.

There is also a Rivian HACS integration with Home Assistant that can track this activity as well.

Rivian Roamer is definitely the way to go if you're a nerd. It's a great product and will give you all the data you want and some.

You could easily see that after charging, last night, it went directly to sleep and only woke up for preconditioning this morning when I requested that from the app (set the climate to high before my morning drive)

There is also a Rivian HACS integration with Home Assistant that can track this activity as well.

HA is a great option for those self-hosting. I may publish a guide on how to do this securely. I believe people should do what they feel is right for them. The reason I started RR was to make it a "dumb reach" for folks who don't want to think about it.

I found over 200 instances of HA that were open to the web. If you're going to do this please make sure it's secure. Consider using an LLM to help you check it as well.
