As I have been doing for years, I occasionally go onto the The Rivian Website to review the items in the Gear Shop. On a recent visit, I saw a number of clothing items bearing a logo that I had not noticed before. These items bore a yellow pennant flag with the word 'Pilgrim' on it and below that is the word 'Rivian' in the standard type font. Can someone explain the meaning and/or significance of this logo?

It is a collaboration with Pilgrim (Brooklyn-based Pilgrim Surf + Supply) on some of the gear shop items (similar to collaboration with Mystery Ranch)

It's more overpriced hipster crap used to attract youngish people with disposable income to Rivian.

Many of the items are indeed overpriced. Some look that way, but are not. Here's one example. Over the past year I tried a few windshield sunshades. I tried a sub $20 one from Amazon (claiming to be from Japan, but wasn't). Then I tried a umbrella styled one that was about $30. Not liking either for different reasons, I decided to splurge on the Rivian one (while thinking it's overpriced). I was proven wrong. I was expecting the typical flimsy folding kind. What I got was hefty, stiff and substantial. It may be made by Covercraft because it looks very similar and is priced similarly to their top-end sunshade. Coverage is almost spot on.

If anyone wants to try the umbrella one, if you cover just postage, it's yours. I'll throw in a brand new Rivian hat. DM me.

Their main target market...Orange County...
More like any of the affluent CA costal cities, where a 1500 sq ft home is well over $1M.

Thank you, yes us in California love the state and what it offers. I grew up in in OC and worked in SF and retired in South Lake Tahoe. Don’t be a hater, just don’t buy it. I’m sure your Rivian was more than your first house cost! I love my Rivian and I’ll buy and support them 100%!!!!!
