So far it's about 2/3 will wait for the Rivian NACS (Tesla) adapter vs 1/3 who will not...

Im not going to risk my truck, and possible issues + warranty coverage over a 3rd party piece.

Personally, I'd be concerned it's logged (unrecognized adapter in a DC/NACS charging session), and should ANYTHING happen to my battery pack in 5-8 years, or the charge port, or anything, they would deny a claim. Not worth a couple hundred dollars, and a couple weeks wait.

Personal opinion.

I'm in no hurry. I don't really want to give any money to Gated Rat's company anyway, and CCS charging in my area is good. I'll take the free adapter (same with the one Ford is sending me in <looks up> June.) It'll be an "emergency use only" kind of thing with the R1T (and a "helps resale value" in the Mach-E for when we replace it with an R3X a few years down the road.)

I ordered a A2Z adapter as emergency backup for a trip I’m about to take (to a charging wasteland … but there’s an SC).

I feel like this design overall is a pretty poor one for accessibility reasons. Will be curious how long before we hear of first-hand accounts of difficulties from people. The recessed button seems like it could be particularly problematic.

That does look like it would be more difficult for those with arthritis. Glue or snap fit modifications to make it a bit more ergonomic?

They are all made by the same manufacturer for Tesla and supplied to the other manufacturers from Tesla.
