Yes, very specific title but I have a brand new Tri motor R1S (coming from a quad launch edition) and started to notice a "pop" or "thud" sound and feel in the suspension as I am pulling away from a stop making a right turn. I initially felt like it was coming from the front suspension but my spouse swears its in the rear somewhere. I can feel it on my seat when it happens but def sounds like something in the suspension. Anyone else notice this/heard of this? It only happens in that specific scenario .

Finally got a video of this while I wait for my Aug appointment. It's the small thud followed by the loud one at the very end of the video. I can feel it more in the car, like something shifted under it. Any ideas?

That sound is not normal. It may be suspension related. I suggest you raise the safety flag and try to get your appointment moved up to July.

I also have popping noises on rapid acceleration. But in my case, it's my spine. 😀

Let me start off by saying I am a Rivian fan and believer and have been since I put my deposit down way back when they were first announced and despite what Im about to say I still am their biggest fan but feeling a little let down. We also have a brand new Gen2 R1T that has been flawless. My Gen1 quad edition had zero problems but man I am pretty disappointed with this Gen2 tri motor.. I have 620 miles on it currently. I have the weird suspension issue listed above that sways the car so much now during right turns that I won't drive my kids in it until I drop it off next week at the Seattle service center.. The plastic black cladding around the wheel wells are peeling off the fenders and I can see behind them. The top of the dash has a hump in the center where it's detaching from itself. My powered tailgate works half the time and mostly just unlatches then sits there doing nothing, and today I got this message and had to open my door to get it into park half the day before it decided to work again. Frustrating to be a die-hard fan and end up with a dud. Sorry to vent but come on!
