Considering how much battery we already I have, I think it’s ridiculous to carry another thing to fail. You could even carry a 120v compressor.

Been using that one for a couple of years now and no issues at all. I like that I can set a pressure and just let it go unlike the old trigger one that you would have to hold to keep it on.I use Ryobi powertools. I bought one of their inflators. The one I bought isn't sold anymore, but this new one is apparently for high pressure tires: https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-O..._-327406129-_-4-_-n/a-_-n/a-_-n/a-_-n/a-_-n/a.
I've looked at some 120v units too since there's an outlet right there. I'm mostly concerned about something small and not too heavy.Considering how much battery we already I have, I think it’s ridiculous to carry another thing to fail. You could even carry a 120v compressor.
The Rivian mobile service guy uses a Milwaukee battery operated pump to top offhttps://www.amazon.com/Hafuloky-Tir...i=B0C7ZP41Y3&ref_=pd_basp_d_rpt_ba_s_1_t&th=1
I carried this pump in my Model Y and when I got the R1S I moved it. It saved me once in the Y. When I tried to use it in the R1S it failed. It would pump for maybe a minute, gaining perhaps 1 lb of pressure, then it would quit. I am assuming that the volume and pressure in the huge Rivian tires is the problem.
Does anyone know of a pump like this that works with a Rivian?
Seems like something is wrong with your pump. The crappy Ryobi one I have works greatNope it’s not a dead battery.

I second this. You can't go wrong with the Milwaukee M18 Cordless Portable Inflator. It's not cheap but it's strong and fast.

This is what I use, but I’m a contractor and use Milwaukee exclusivelyYou can't go wrong with the Milwaukee M18 Cordless Portable Inflator. It's not cheap but it's strong and fast.

...Why not...? It's super easy to get to at least on gen 1 and provides the needed power. Is gen 2 really hard to get to?You aren't going to connect straight to the 12v battery which is what many of the higher amp 12v inflators require.
And it looks like a pretty good value right now as it includes the battery and one of their better chargers. Nice an compact as well.I use Ryobi powertools. I bought one of their inflators. Velcro strap, zip tie....My son has the older trigger controlled inflator which works well but it can be tedious having the hold the trigger the whole time you are inflating the tire.
