Glass roofs are fine here in the summer and definitely better than having a solid roof in the winter time.
Yeah but see it's a negative instead of "fine" for everyone who doesn't like them and comments indicate it's many. I would think it lowers cost to make a solid roof and it benefits those that are miserable while making it optional still allows those that need/want it to get it. It's a big deal in the AZ sun for us not to have a choice.

It's just not logical for a glass roof to be the standard and only option.

In no particular order:

1) better lateral support seats for the first row
2) lockable glove box
3) memory for 2nd row seats when folded to access 3rd row or down (R1S)
4) thicker steering wheel
5) YELLOW SEATBELTS (looks great in Polestar 3 SUV)
6) space-saver spare (R1S) - non inflatable (R1S)
7) built-in window shades for all glass behind the 1st row, including the rear window (and electrically controlled for the rear window)
8) glass roof retractable shade

Flashlight slots in every door, or at least additionally in the passenger door. Actual flashlights to stick in the slots (perhaps beyond the one in the driver door) could be optional accessories.

R1T: folding midgate: like the one in the GMC Denali, so that you can get a clear opening from interior to bed. Solves all the bed length issues, and probably kind of relaxing shaded space to lie down in.

Isn’t “ask” a verb? Did you mean “What’s your request”?

Update the flashlight with rubberized magnetic back
Make a micro-umbrella for drivers door slot... Move the flashlight to another door
Also a dumb waterproof storage container (for granola or anything else)

For a minor refresh.

1 - Improve sound dampening.
2 - Replace USB-C ports to support USB-PD protocol and supply at least 12v * 3A = 36W
3 - Return the 12V power outlet to the dashboard
4 - Return the original "ocean coast with light wood" option
5 - Return the original wood trim on back of seats
6 - Replace the camp speaker with a basket (or cooler)
7 - replace the 120v alternator with a more powerful one (ideally with the ability to output 240v x 50A)
8 - Higher resolution backup camera
9 - flashlight charging hole in all 4 doors so people who want to can purchase additional flashlights and charge them.

For a more major refresh:

1 - A longer version of the R1S (same length as T).
2 - Redesign the trunk latches and 3rd row armrests to allow 48" wide objects to rest of the floor of the trunk. Perhaps solve this by making the armrest removable.
3 - Redesign the 2nd row seats/doors to make it possible to access the 3rd row when there is a carseat in the 2nd row (captains seats? removable seats? longer door?).
4 - Make the 2nd and 3rd row seats removable so you can fit taller cargo.

Agree with most of these and would add improving the fast charging to get the 10-80 time down to 30 minutes or so.

Just scrolled through the comments and don't see anyone asking for the one thing that would make me trade my current T for tomorrow, if I could get it in a newer model:

Give me a real 6'+ steel bed

*This could go along with: 1/2 doors and flip-down jumpseats for 2nd row (the number of times I carry more than one extra person in my truck are few & far between). Basically, sell me a Rivian but shaped like my old extended cab Colorado and I'd be in heaven, LOL. ?
