;)

I am more concerned about pyro fuse that seems like much more difficult to get to. I have no idea how exactly it is triggered. Now I am afraid if I hit a speed bump the wrong way and that thing blows, it may have to be towed at least 150 miles away for disassembly. I don't know how to make sure it does not explode by accident, well, you know what I mean ;)
Generally speaking, I'd say: if you're not worried about the airbag going off, then I wouldn't worry about the pyro fuse.

Not totally sure the point of this since you can pop the key open and see 90% of this with your eyes
The point of it was that I can not pop it open and see it with my eyes and as of now neither most of the members here who may be curious. If you post a closeup of inside of yours here, I will delete my post.

Edit: on second thought, ignore that request. It may create some security issues. Deleted the post.

Interesting how deep those mud splashes got in. Would you say all are from the wheels or you think some under the thank may have been from the bed?

do you happen to have the progress shots of disassembly or any tips for someone that may want to try doing the same?

All from the wheels. There's lot of overlapping panels. Panel against the cab needs to come out first. Then the side panels. Then the spare tub top needs to get unbolted. Bolts in the bottom of the tub. The tub itself is the hardest part, it's sorta trapped by the corners. There is probably a way to get them out easy, but I ended up just prying/bending the non-handle one up a bit. Had to unbolt the tub clasps, which means it's probably going to be a huge pain to get them re-aligned properly.

Thanks for sharing very valuable info. Looking forward to read more on your progress.

Except for the lack of blue anodized color, that looks a lot like an ARB compressor. I wonder how hard it would be to swap it out for an ARB twin compressor. I'm also thinking that installing a larger air tank would be an interesting mod. Then you can tap that air tank for sustained air tool use.
Doesn't seem to say ARB anywhere I can see without unbolting it, but it does say assembled in Australia.

Ah, yes, in context your sentence makes sense, now. Without the context I thought voice-to-text or autocorrect had buggered it up, lol.

I would guess that the storage is soldered on, and Rivian won't support replacing it (just the whole unit). I'm hoping they've used flash chips with a high endurance so we get good longevity. IIRC, Tesla was using eMMC (or similar) and the endurance was quite poor.
Tesla was using CF cards, and now SD cards.

That's some wonderful engineering detail on pressures. Wish we could have that much info about all the systems.
pressure vessels require this information on their data plates.
wouldn’t be there if it didn’t have to be

One thing I noticed after pulling the side panels off is that there are plastic sheets that use a weak adhesive to stick to the panel and stop water from dripping into the electronics on the side of the bed. If you are getting water leaking through the outlets in the bed, its likely that the sheets don't have good adhesion or are folded out of place.

Looks like the same sort of thing you find in doors to protect window mechanisms
