R1S Sept 22 order, configuration in October, November delivery estimate was Dec23-Jan24, now DE reverted back to processing estimate. My configuration is dual motor, and everything in the shop is quad, so go figure.

Mine is still in Processing Estimate after the Dec23-Jan24 status. Has yours moved?

Pretty much how I'm feeling. Anything thats just DM, large pack doesn't last long in the shop.

I was same. I broke down and went QM for the better warranty. They said my DM would be going into production end of January.

Close to 170 R1S in the shop by my count. Vast majority are QM or Perf DM with price near $100k. I’d say demand is clearly slowed down. My lowly config is 87,750. Here’s an idea Riv: Offer me one of those vehicles “on the lot” for my price. I’ve always been a mover for a good deal! Lol

Recently given access to the shop with an early 2023 R1S preorder after finalizing my configuration a few weeks ago (shocked to have access this soon). Found one with the specs I wanted in the shop and finalized it. A little hesitant to purchase since the VIN is 16xxx since the latest VINs are close to 30k. Should I be concerned that it’s a customer reject since it was likely built early summer and we are now seeing 2024 model years coming out?

I just finalized one from the shop with 19xxx. What was your experience. Are these customer rejects or just cancellations since interest rates are so high/inflation, etc.

Wow. When we got our R1S, from the shop, couple of weeks went by without any and once a batch showed up, they all were gone right away. This was July this year.

What a difference few months makes...

DM and PDM are no longer options in the shop. They’re not selectable in the filters.

So all of a sudden my shop is cleaned out...only 12 are now showing!! Including one that REALLY piqued my interest:

This is almost my exact build that I configured which I have to wait another quarter for or so...how is this possibly in the shop??? $86k too!

Something weird happened with the shop. Quantity of R1S available dropped from 170 to 5 in less than 2 days.

Something weird happened with the shop. Quantity of R1S available dropped from 170 to 5 in less than 2 days.

This usually happens towards the end of the end of the quarter push. Rivian will show only what inventory they can realistically get to the service center while dealing with their end of the quarter push.

Once we wrap up and move onto the new year, you will see the shop return back to regular inventory levels.
