R1S Liftgate Randomly Opening

I just encountered the same issue this weekend. The lift gate button has stopped working and the lift gate seems to randomly open without warning.
Was you Liftgate problem solved? What was the fix in the end?

Tail gate open/close switch failing intermittently. I would turn off the assisted option in the settings in the car. This will stop the car from opening the trunk randomly when you’re out in it.

Closing the loop on the erratic trunk opening/closing issues with my R1S.
Rivian Mobile service came to perform routine maintenance and the technician had a replacement trunk button with him.
The original button had a faulty seal. It had taken up some water/salt during our New England freeze/thaw cycling winter, which led to a short.
Simple trunk button replacement, allegedly with an updated unit sporting a better seal, and back to health

I am seeing the same problem. When we had some heavy rains it started opening on its own when put in park. Now it won't open or close at all with the button. I requested service and earliest date was July 1. Hopefully they switch it to a mobile appointment so that I don't have to drive 2 plus hours to Brooklyn and get it fixed a little sooner
