R1S Shop access live with lots of inventory!

If my guide is right that rivian will ship vehicles from normal to the SCs, but not between the SCs, does the fact that there isn't a common set of R1Ss in everyone's shop mean that none of these are actually at the factory?

So eastern PA has a different shop than OH....I wouldn't have thought so.

I have a feeling there are vehicles at the Normal plant that get put on all/most shops in batches. Maybe there is some semblance of regions here as well.
Then each service center likely has an inventory that they can list when deliveries fall through or extra inventory is brought in.
I don't seen them shipping these back and forth between service centers with the current demand.

My R1S is enroute to the SC in the Bay Area. Also got a test drive appt on the R1S this coming Monday afternoon. I’m hoping the vehicle will be ready for pick up before the end of March. Almost done with the 8 steps.

My understanding is you see your pricing. So early people see early prices, later people see newer prices.

Costa Mesa service center is slammed today. 100’s of R1S and R1Ts. They’ve run out of room on the property and are parking on the public street. Combination of new vehicles and service vehicles.

this is the side of the building. The lot wraps around the rear and front. And there were more vehicles on the street. I would say 200 vehicles. 100 of R1S and 100 of R1T.

Hmm should I and if it is possible I can change my delivery location to costa mesa...I can make the drive.

So one thing that caught my attention, and will not likely add any value to the conversation other than to start new speculation, is that Wed-Thurs there were 17 R1S that didn't move; it was always the same models. Only two went away.
Then Friday it updates and there are only 2. I can't imagine 6 LG's that were there for days suddenly all were taken.
Makes me wonder if they move things around regions/SC's (even though we hear they don't), or if this taillight thing made them pull some off.
I was also at the Brooklyn SC walking around staring like some sketchy drug addict, and there lot is packed, but likely more R1T than R1S.
