Defender 110. Same length as Model Y at 187”.
Imagine a Land Rover Defender with good tech, 0-60 in the 4 something second range, and that didn't cost a fortune in gas to run it? They would sell so many.

I'm also hoping for a RAV4 equivalent in terms of build quality and creature comforts. I own a RAV4 and if RIVIAN can capture even a mediocre slice of that market they will do very well for themselves.

Regarding the styling, I'm one of the folks here that like the Bronco aesthetic, so if that ends up being the look (with various RIVIAN signature components, head lights, light bar, etc) I'd be pleased as punch and would probably put myself on the pre-order list right quick.
I agree, the Bronco looks awesome. I hope Rivian makes an electric one with decent performance and good tech, at a reasonable price. That would be a win.

I see a lot of comparisons to Grand Cherokees and Defenders. That would be great but the truth is those SUVs are similar in size and capability to the R1S.
Having just sat in a Defender, it was much smaller than my R1S inside. Definitely a size down. I was in the 5 seater version which had decent trunk space but if there were two seats back there, they'd be cramped and storage would be down drastically.

To your point, I actually sat in a Defender 110 with the 3rd row option. It was super cramped for leg room and made me wonder why they even made it an option. The Defender did have more head room overall and comparable width for the first two rows.
