Rivian was quite clear in the email that not every Launch Edition would get Launch Green - that's why they asked people to lock it in if they wanted it. I can't find the email now but that was happening right as the configurator went live. That's why I selected it and _never_ changed it.
My configuration is similar to the OP and my pre-order date is December 2019. I'm in Denver with a well-established service center and R1S's showing up in town. Yet again, the Scooby-Doo mystery of how some people get invited to take delivery...
Congratulations! If you get the opportunity I would love to hear your guide's take on whether Ocean Coast is in the mix for early R1S orders or whether that would cause further delays as well.
True. Some of us have been waiting even longer and are perfectly located.
It's been an option in the configuration tool forever and is still an option for anyone with an LE trim that hasn't locked their order with a Guide.
After finally finding the emails, I think you're right and I was remembering incorrectly. It was Launch Edition that was limited, not Launch Green. Any LE can get LG, though.
Same (Jan 20 and I live down the street from the OP)… my delivery window went from June/July 2022 to 1 H 23 doesn’t make any sense. Trying to be patient but this is frustrating. Congrats to the OP though
I don't remember ever seeing this. I do remember them saying the amount of Launch Edition trucks was going to be limited, and that you can choose any color for them. They sold out of "Launch Edition" trucks within a few days of opening the ordering system up. Everything after that had to be Adventure, which isn't eligible for Launch Green.
