Bummer. Hopefully you get a max pack before that “impeding recession” that’s been coming for 2 years. Or at least Ive been told.
The difference now is big tech is making mass layoffs fashionable, shithead banks like SVB, FR and Suisse are sending jitters and Wall St. shorts are smelling blood. One by one, sector by sector, pull backs are happening. It’s starting to look like a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Since we are discussing Toyota, their new trucks/sequoia exterior design looks pretty good...

Japanese manufacturers perfected the art of efficient knock offs decades ago.

Being late to the party en masse is their SOP.
This is also true for EV’s even if they arrive after midnight.

Starting in the 1950's with the device widely considered the most important invention in the history of the world.. the transistor.

Speaking of camp speaker... Mine is no longer "removable". At Bend's Earth Day event, I opened my R1T for public display and in the course of the day found that my speaker was locked in place. The group of Rivian owners present tried to no avail to free it. We called Customer Service (group chat ?at the event), tried to reset several times, no luck. Days later, SNAFU with SC appt (they wouldn't have parts), so returned home mid-drive (160 mile trip). They did send the mobile service unit that afternoon. He couldn't free it either. Bottom line...will have to remove the console and front seats to access and replace the locking mechanism. Apparently, it's a rare malfunction...guess I'll wait for the tonneau repair to get both addressed at once.

Not so rare, I think. My camp speaker has also become unremovable. I hadn't tried it in a couple of months and cannot say if any of the recent OTA updates are responsible or not. I spoke to service, and they will not even try a mobile service; next SC appointment is in January... I hadn't realized it requires so much disassembly to deal with it, but sounds like a well-known issue now, based on the customer service interaction. *sigh*
