Over the past few weeks my home charger hasn't been working properly. It started with "unplug and try again" as the error message, eventually working. Now it will not charge at all. The charger will turn green and eventually the charging port will turn red. I'm now using my plug in charger until it goes in for service in a couple weeks. Anyone else have this issue? I've spoke with service several times with no solution.

Assuming you've flipped the breaker to the charger off and on to power cycle it?

Yep. They even had me disassemble the charger and send pictures of the inside. I had it for 10 months with not a single issue until a month ago

I'd look at the pins in the handle and make sure they look clean. Spray it out with some electrical contact cleaner and let it dry before trying again.
I don't have the Rivian charger so can't really offer anything other than generic advice.

Check end to end to make sure nothing is burnt?

Mine started arcing in connector. Melted some plastic. Got a new one and rivian paid a contractor to install. All in, about 2 weeks relying on public charging

If it is an issue with the charger, then push to get it replaced under warranty. Either Rivian should send you a new one or maybe "Wallbox", if they are still considered the manufacture. I'm pretty sure Rivian does not make them, so issues like this is more the fault of the manufacture and not the retailer. Seriously, they picked a well respected company to produce a charger and that is about as good as they can do.

Interesting, I've heard noises that may be this. I'll be curious what they end up doing.

Did you check to verify all the conductor wires are torqued to spec?

I did not do that, I will try it. Its odd as at times it will start charging, then error out within a second or two. Going into the service center on Friday, so I'll have an answer soon.

This! It's not uncommon for the screws to loosen over time if not torqued correctly at install.

An update, Rivian ended up replacing my wall charger. Works perfect now!

Hmm. I am seeing similar behavior with my Rivian charger. Worked perfectly for months and then for the last couple of weeks it stops charging intermittently. Seems to basically go to sleep on the job. Opening the mobile app or the Rivian door will often get it to restart. Obviously this is not practical for overnight charging.
I have an open ticket and as of today they said they are aware of an issue, suggesting that others are also experiencing this.

I'm also experiencing the red charging error with my Rivian Wall charger, hard wired to a 60 amp breaker. The issue only started happening the last couple weeks. Reset of the breaker has always fixed it enough to get back to a full charge so not a showstopper. But I've had it working fine for over a year. I have an open service ticket with Rivian, the "charging team" is looking into it. I can't say that I'm having the same connection issue that others have stated. Everything looks fine to my untrained eye. I've occasionally used the same charger on the wife's LEAF and it hasn't thrown the same error. So we'll see what comes of it.
