Lease noob here. But I’m considering this now that prehike orders are included, the monthly would be <$700/month. I don’t want to end up owning an antique valueless EV within a few short years with all of the quickly evolving technology, out of warranty with unrealistic repair costs.

How does increased annual mileage affect lease terms? At 36 months, what do folks typically do? Start a new lease with new trim? Roll existing lease to new trim, if that’s even a thing? Buy out vehicle? Option to buyout in 3 years seems like a no-brainer if the rates continue to drop, and the vehicle ends up holding its value. Can you buy out at any point before 36 months? Since it would technically be a rental vehicle, do people still add accessories to it? Or are there limitations to that per contract?

What is the difference between the 2023 and 2024 models? Is it worth it to pay higher monthly lease for a 2024?

No difference, get the 23 if you want to save money on the lease. Maybe in the future if you keep the vehicle after the lease ends. You can resell the 24 for a little more?
