I’ve been complaining to El Segundo about my accelerator pedal for almost a year, I lose 2% while plugged in at home, my truck rarely goes to sleep… 9/22 build, no update yet.

edit: according to the nhtsa website my vin has zero recalls ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
hmmm. I have had a handful of times were my 8/22 built R1T creeped a bit when I let off the pedal and I had to apply the brake to bring to a full stop. Didn't think much of it at the time. I too did not receive this notification and the NHTSA website also shows no open recalls for my VIN. I have had a service appointment setup for tomorrow for some time now and they never mentioned anything about this pedal recall.

Well this is yet another recall email that I didn't get. I'm at a loss as to why they seem to have two email delivery lists and my recall ones never arrive. Sent an email to customer service after verifying my VIN is on the recall list.
Guess I should also do the update on my loaner R1T too.

I can't help but wonder if @TheSasquatch will end up getting refunded on his broken pedal. I don't remember if Rivian good-willed replacement on that or not.
I had the same thought.
I'll be getting mine replaced as I'm in the affected VIN Range. Haven't noticed any creep issue but thinking the replacement might be sturdier as well.
Question for anyone who might know... How often do these recalls get subrogated back to the suppliers for providing out of spec. components? Not sure if this even the case with the pedals.

They should be doing this work as we speak at local RSC. Happy they could add it on while I was there.

Interesting timing. Wonder if this has anything to do with Alan Ruck's accident? Although his Rivian seemed to be in "ramming" mode.

I haven't received an email yet, but since my R1T lives in Phoenix and was delivered in 9/2022, I'll be asking for the new pedal. It's too damn hot in the desert in the summer. Maybe they'll replace my powered tonneau at the same appointment :)
Got the call last night, Rivian wants to send a mobile unit out to replace the pedal on Friday. I tried to get them to address the powered tonneau at the same time. No dice. They apparently have a "team" that will contact affected owners as the parts for the tonneau replacement become available. I've had a request in to replace my tonneau since middle of last year.

Told they get a certain allotment of new tonneau covers. Not sure who gets chosen after that.

So I did the software update already but I’ve gotten four voicemails to schedule a physical replacement (vm says it’s not needed) but should I? I don’t get why they’re bugging me so much if it’s not necessary.
