Rivian tonneau fix appointments

To all those getting the power tonneau replaced. I got mine back from the Olathe service center on Friday afternoon. They did an amazing job. They were done in about 3.5 hours. Everything looks factory and works.

I did Mention to the service advisor that someone had shown a picture where the seal that rests up against the tailgate when closed was no longer “full width” and their was concern about water infiltration. When I got my truck back the seal was full width. Very pleased.

Mine was in at South SF for other miscellaneous (booked appt at the start of the year for the first available at the end of April). Between then and the appointment, they called and said they were ready to do my tonneau and they could add it on to that appointment.

I got the truck back last week with a new tonneau! I've used it a number of times since then - it's working great! Very smooth, although while it seems to open at the normal speed, it closes VERY slowly.

I have noticed this too. Maybe it is to prevent dynamics that could lead to jamming.
