Route planning paradox

Trial planning a trip in my R1S to Coronado CA from Saratoga CA, Filter for Riv and Tesla(have adapter!). The UI planner has two RANs on I5(good) and then EVgo in San Clemente(bad). Tesla web site indicates 2 adapter compatible supercharger locations in San Clemente. Ideas why Rivian not doing what it's told?

When you have the trip planner with your destination up, did you select the gear to change the routing options?

The options at the top of the map just change what is shown on the map, not how the routing happens…

I can’t comment on why the nav is taking you to the EvGo station, but if it is the EvGo station in the Ocean View Plaza in San Clemente, I actually have never had any problems charging there and think it’s quite good. It’s your typical suburbia shopping center but it’s pretty close to the freeway and depending on the time of day you get there, lots of options for things to burn time.

I've had the planner prefer an EA over a RAN, it's pretty stupid sometimes. Unfortunately you can't rely on any single source and trips have to be cross-checked on ABRP at least.
