BS if it's only on gen2 quads. Gen1 can do it, they showed it.

Just spit balling because I don't have experience with this.... but on a trail, when you are "between a rock and a hard place", 15 degree bursts of being able to spin might help you to get out of jam.what is the big deal about the tank turn other than the novelty?
Just to say you can?

Whatever. Many things in life: just because you could, doesn't mean you should. Tank turn has very limited usefulness in the real world. Plus, Rivian's demo of it doesn't prove or disprove whether the Bosch motors, or the suspension components, are durable enough to withstand repeated use of tank turn. We already know at least first half of gen 1 produced have smaller and weaker tie-rods.BS if it's only on gen2 quads. Gen1 can do it, they showed it.
Maybe tank turn was the reason it's been so long, they had to engineer half shafts that don't explode </hope>When I hear tank turn, I hear: “How to destroy all my half shafts at the same time”
After my experiences, I’m so gun shy about doing anything that’ll ruin them now haha
"Kick Turn should only be used by a skilled driver in an off-road environment."
Definitely an AI hallucination.
Besed on their track record of leaving Gen 1 behind any time they think they can get away with it, don't hold your breath.I hope this stuff comes to gen 1 quads

Ditto. "If it's too good to be true, it probably isn't." We paid pre-price-hike prices. Don't expect to get all things for free. Rivian is not a charity. Gen 1 quad R1T started at $70k? A comparable Gen 2 would be the CA Dune R1T, which started at $99k. Start getting used to the idea of not receiving upgrades from Rivian. Because that day will come one day.Besed on their track record of leaving Gen 1 behind any time they think they can get away with it, don't hold your breath.
Yeah, you have to wonder... based on the issues with Gen 1 half shafts, tie rods, etc. if this Gen2 Quad will have a beefier suspension that Rivian is confident would stand up to tank turn abuse.Whatever. What about those of us that did pay $100k for our Gen 1 vehicles? Do we deserve it?Ditto. "If it's too good to be true, it probably isn't." We paid pre-price-hike prices. Quoting Clint Eastwood in The Unforgiven: deserve's got nothing to do with it.What about those of us that did pay $100k for our Gen 1 vehicles? Do we deserve it?
