Illinois Sell my 2023 R1s

I just discovered this forum this morning. I got notified that I have a VIN and should be picking up my 2023 Rivian R1S in LA Silver in the next 10 days. If I don't like this thing, how hard will it be to sell? I don't know how it will work for my ordinary use.

As long as your price is reasonable and you aren't trying to rip people off it should be easy to sell.

I don't think you'll have a hard time selling it. If you got it pre-March hike price, you can make a little profit.

For a R1S, I've seen final sale prices in low to mid $90k. The Car&Bids site seems to be popular with a lot of folks.

Also in Illinois (not far from Normal) and been waiting for 26 months now for my S. Good luck!

Yeah, I do have the old pricing. And it looks like you're right, they do have a 7 day/1000 mile return window.

Just remember to consider the cost of taxes you'll pay on the purchase, and any fees from websites you sell on. But at old pricing and if you locked in tax rebate, I'd be shocked if you couldn't find a buyer to at least turn some profit locally. Many of us are on waiting lists with no ETA still.

If it were R1T then I'd say it's a small gamble as those are becoming more available.

Yes, that would be another option.

Cars and Bids' fee is paid by the buyer, so the final sales price is actually the amount paid to the seller.
