Family R1S user here. I want something that stays in place but can be grabbed and moved easily. I prefer things that allow bags inside and I'm ok with lids, but don't refer them. I like the 2 - 4L capacity range, so, on the smaller side. Any awesome OEM-looking products out there? Maybe something that fits in that weird (dumb?) middle bucket area between driver and shotgun?

I could definitely see a trash bin in that middle area.

As an aside, Cadillacs (in the ā€˜70s at least) used to have a little trash bin integrated in the front passenger footwell area. They were removable, made of color-matched plastic, and with color-coordinated carpet trim. I picture them being used for empty cigarette packs, empty miniature bottles of your liquor of choice, and discarded Rolodex cards. It was a very different time.

I just use the door pocket. But I'm pretty much the only one who ever goes anywhere in my truck and I don't produce much trash, LOL. ? Some fantastic suggestions on this thread!

Grocery store plastic bag ($0.10) when we are on road trip. Then we throw the whole thing out as needed. Trash bag is on the floor or lower center console.

Other times, we don't eat or drink in the vehicle often to matter.

I recently got the Snapbag and like it a lot. It isn’t the cheapest option, but after trying a few of the cheap Amazon trash bins, I took the plunge and haven’t regretted it. It’s out of the way since it attaches to the back of the seat. I didn’t get the reusable liner. I just use regular trash bags.
