SOS calling failure

I've been periodically (about twice a week) getting a message that says (I don't know the exact wording) "SOS calling isn't working. Get it serviced." I probably will never push the SOS button, so it isn't a high priority. I'm wondering how involved the repair would be. How much stuff would they have to take out to get to whatever the part is that isn't working? Is it software? Is any physical part broken? Has this happened to anybody else? Is it worth even bothering with? Should I save it and bundle it with something more serious that happens in the future? (Which unfortunately is bound to happen eventually.)

I get that alert every now and then just ignore it. as it goes away after a few seconds of driving. I'm assuming probably a software bug?

I've not seen this error, but I'm wondering if it occurs in places where the crappy AT&T LTE connection is gone or very low?

I've received those before and just did a soft reboot. Never came back.

Thanks. You're great. I swear it says something about getting it serviced, which implies a physical part. There are things Rivian can check remotely. This could be one of them. I live in a remote area and there might be places where there is no signal. Sometimes stuff like this is a part of a bigger system and that could mean a bigger problem that is hidden. I probably won't do anything. It might go away on its own. Or wait until I get more information.

I would suggest that you do get it looked at. if you are ever in an accident it may be a matter of life and death!
