Speaker Dock Permanently Locked

I can't return the camp speaker due to a lock issue with the dock. The infotainment app is saying the accessory dock is unlocked but the camp speaker will not fully fit into the dock. Using a flashlight, I inspected the dock and can see that it is in the lock position. I rebooted the infotainment software several times and nothing has changed. The app thinks it is unlocked but the locking mechanism is in the locked position. Anyone else had the same issue and found a solution? Gen2 R1T Trimotor.

I had a similar issue and found a way to unlock it from the menus within the car. I don’t have access to my vehicle, but I think it was in the Service section. This worked even though it was locked you could unlock it from the menu.

I had the same issue, tried every trick and combo that i found in this forum and everywhere else online. Save yourself a few hours and get service to replace the latch - it failed for me early on and now works flawlessly.

Had a similar issue.
Tried everything from the Infotainment center menus, Service Menu, Infotainment Rest, Vehicle Reset, etc. Called support, added to other issues for an upcoming service center visit.
Was never told the resolution.
Once released, took the Camp Speaker out and stashed on shelf in favor of using space for storing the Charging Adapters. Put the Camp speaker back in slot - sold vehicle.
Solid solution and permanent fix.
