Compared to internal combustion motors, this is not extreme but the Bosch motors never cooled as well as the later Enduro ones. Curious why the rears didn't get hot, or did they also warm up? I've gotten the enduros warm enough to disable Regen while towing down a steep highway descent.
The rear motors did start to warm up, but never even got past 175 degrees. I also never heard the motor cooling system until the fronts hit 300 degrees. Then you could really hear the cooling system go into high gear. Once all the pressure was off the system and we were on flatter terrain (only about 10 degrees) the temp dropped very fast, like 10 degrees every 2 or 3 seconds.
