Steering Wheel Tear

Anyone have a quick fix for this small tear in the fabric on the steering wheel?

There is a product called "liquid electrical tape" that you could probably use. Just a drop of it over the cut and that would seal it and prevent the tear from spreading.

Thanks! I'll try the vinyl repair first. If it doesn't hold, try something more aggressive.

BTW, $2500 ish through Rivian. Considered normal wear.

THIS keeps me up at night. The material on the steering wheel and door cards seems incredibly fragile.

If that's "normal wear," exactly how many other "normal" vehicles are out there in the fleet?

This is the first I've seen this issue come up...and that doesn't sound very "normal" to me.
