The power kit does not include any pucks. You still need your pucks.

So, I've been working through some final details. I wanted to get some units out to testers last weekend, but it didn't quite happen. However, I plan to contact my testers in the next day or so.

Here are some updates on my previous issues:

Flocking - I've got the new adhesive and it's excellent! It requires spraying, but it's water-based and doesn't have a strong odor. It dries within an hour and cures in 24 hours. It also works much better than any previous product I tried. The flocking outcome is better than I could have hoped, and it's incredibly soft and velvety. ?

Front Lip Finish - I had planned to switch to paint, but it turned out to be less durable than I expected and was rather troublesome. I've managed to get the vinyl to wrap around the edges now by fine-tuning my cutting templates and using a vinyl primer. This change has made all the difference. I'm really pleased with the result.

Drawer Slide - This was a new issue. I had to make the drawer slide smoother as the flocking and the discontinued paint were making it a tighter fit. I solved this issue but encountered a new problem. When launching my R1T, the drawer was also launching open, which was a problem. Fortunately, I had a solution ready from a previous prototype. The slide now has a magnetic catch at both the open and closed positions (invisible). I've tested it on uphill launches, and it stays put.

So when available? I'll be targeting the first week of June. It could slip of course. It will be available in limited quantities at first. I nearly killed myself with the AdventureMat launch and don't wish to do that again.

DAMN! Did the Power Kit sell out again?? I've been waiting for that to be available to place a order for the power kit and stealth charging pad at the same time. When will the Power Kit be available again?

The biggest change since the preview would be the top part is now textured too. I found the matte black to be more trouble for installation and also a finger print magnet. Since I liked both looks, I'm going with this style.

Launch base price is currently $179.99.

Rollout plan: Here's my thinking - I am slow rolling these. Current goal is only 10 a week - I'll plan to take pre-orders up to what I believe I can deliver in a month and will change it to sold out at that point. For the time being I'll post at rivianforums anytime I'm going to add more stock.

That being said - I will be out of office last week of June first week of July and will be putting a pause on all orders/deliveries close to that time. I don't want deliveries to occur while I'm away.
