Surprise Connect+ Trial activated

Just curious if anyone else got an extra 60 days of trial for Connect+?
I checked my inbox but haven’t seen anything regarding some kind of promotion going on.

It's because of the So Cal fires. I received the below email from Rivian today :

As we continue to find ways to support Rivian owners in the LA community amidst the devastating wildfires, we wanted to let you know a Connect+ trial has been activated at no cost so you can use your vehicle’s Wi-Fi hotspot wherever you need it.​

Your vehicle’s connectivity is active through March 16, 2025.​

​

To activate the Wi-Fi hotspot, select the

icon at the top right of your Center Display, or go to Settings > Connect > Hotspot. You can choose the vehicle’s hotspot name and password, then connect your devices.​
