Bro must live under a rock. I'm a proud Gen-X'er and still see at least a half-dozen clickbait or humor posts about "boomers vs millennials" every day, or how "millennials are ruining everything", etc. It's funny. Don't take it so serious. ?
I never knew there was a “competition” been boomers and millennials, or any generation against any other generation, and never knew millennials were supposedly ruining everything. So this bro may definitely have been living under a rock in that sense. ? My two millennial daughters are kicking ass at making the world, and their part of it, a much better place. So I know at least two millennials that aren’t ruining everything!! ?

None of this is going to happen. The only guaranteed screw job is the $7500 credit being removed. The loan will happen and that alone is more important than the credit.

RJ from Rivian confirmed the Tariffs won't have an impact on the company as they have sourced materials not affected by the tariffs.

Ironically Rivian and Tesla will do well with the tariffs as these companies had no choice but to source most components in the US from inception. The big 3 will be absolutely screwed as 99% of there products come China and assembled in Mexico.

Wasn’t the Biden plan for EV tax credits predicated upon the % of US-sourced components within the vehicle?

Therefore, design of R2/3 would be skating to where the puck was going to be. Tariffs on Chinese goods should have limited effects, as well as a lack of manufacturing presence in Canada or Mexico. There are 1,000 ways R2 could go sideways but a plan for foreign tariffs doesn’t seem to be one of them.

The Mustang MachE and Chevy Blazer, Equinox and Honda Prologue will be unaffordable. 25% price increase + no $7500 tax credit. A $35,000 vehicle will now cost like $55,000.
