Tesla Adapters timing update?

Has anyone gotten an update on the timing. I have a 2023 R1S, June delivery. I still have not gotten anything from Rivian on the adapter other than the “are you interested etc “ email back in March/April.

That same message said "Once you opt-in, we’ll follow up to confirm your shipping address when your adapter is ready to be delivered." That is what you should expect - your next contact will be when your adapter is ready to be delivered.

Rivian is shipping to owners with delivery days before about May 2023 right now. You're getting near the head of the line. The exact timing depends on how fast Tesla can make the adapters, and how many of those are allocated for Rivian.

Since Rivian doesn't make the adapters but Tesla does your timing will be up in the air. I have tracking on mine, Thursday ETA. Feb 2023 delivery. With Elon firing and then re-hiring the charging team it caused some issues.

I have a June, 2023 R1S delivery as well and haven’t received any further emails from Rivian after the opt-in email.

Hopefully we get an update from Rivian s00n.

Same. It seems like the estimated shipping pace has been a quarter every 2 months.
at that pace we have another 8 months to wait.

March 2023 R1S delivery here, got my address confirmation email last week and it shipped today. I think you should get yours pretty quickly, seems like that recent news of Tesla ramping the production was accurate.

I have a R1T vin#18483 delivered December 29, 2022, and got an address confirm email Sept 1, tracking shows it's out for delivery Sept 19.

I took delivery of my R1T in Feb 2023. I just got notification that my adapter is being shipped by via fedex and should be her this week. I got the initial are you interested email many months ago

I think we might see an accelation on deliveries of these, as the cutoff for confirming you wanted one was in August. After that, if you didn't confirm interest, no free adapter for you.

I wonder how many people either didn't get that message, or just decided they didn't want one...
