Tesla Adapters timing update?

Has anyone gotten an update on the timing. I have a 2023 R1S, June delivery. I still have not gotten anything from Rivian on the adapter other than the “are you interested etc “ email back in March/April.

Feb 23 R1T, just received mine yesterday...2 days after getting my A2Z Typhoon Pro...painful.

It'd be great if Rivian made a periodic tweet or announcement, e.g. "we're now shipping adapters to customers that bought in March 23" ... rather than us having to attempt to crowd-source the status.

I did everyone a huge favor and emailed rivian support asking them to remove all 2023 deliveries from the waiting list. Now you folks don't need to wait patiently anymore, and we should see some movement on the end of the line s00n!!!!!!!

Why bother? It's a free adapter. If you want one earlier than "soon", just buy one.

If they are cranking as it seems I think not too long?

It looks like they are basically following calendar of delivery with some variations (e.g. 12xxx T in Feb 23 around same time as 3xxx S in Feb 23) from that link.

I took delivery of an S in late January '23 with VIN 3xxx and my adapter should arrive tomorrow 9/18. My order page reflected a new order for the adapter on 9/9 saying it was pending, and on 9/13 I got an email saying it shipped with a tracking number link.

At this pace I'll receive mine by time I take delivery of an R3. (R1 delivery Feb 2024)

There’s a chance you get it early next year. I’m guessing most people will have adapters by mid 2025.

Around 9/6/24’ I received an email to confirm my address for the adapter (R1T, 3/5/23 delivery, vin: 195XX) Honestly, I wasn’t expecting this nice surprise.. today 9/17, I get another email expecting delivery s00n. So I think they are starting to mail out the ‘23 deliveries now (?) my roommates R1S, ‘24 delivery will probably not see his email yet (?). All I can say is be patient, its hard, 2 weeks before my first email I just purchased the Typhoon adapter online and I will now have 2 Adapters..??‍..

I got my Rivian adapter a few months ago. My Ford adapter (which was supposed to arrive in June) just showed up today. Other than the fancy box it came in, it is 100% identical to the one Rivian sent, as expected.

May 2023 delivery date here, and I haven’t heard from Rivian yet. The email I got today from Rivian is a reminder that I’m half way through my “Connect+” trial.

July 23 Rivian R1S recipient. I chatted with a rep last night and in a moment of unfiltered honesty, the rep said they have absolutely no idea when or how many adapters will ship. She said it’s one of the most asked questions and they have 0 visibility on them.

I Have a trip planned next month that almost requires me to use two Tesla chargers so I went ahead and made the plunge and bought an adapter because it’s not likely it’s gonna ship before mid October
