Hello. I have a Tesla Universal Charger at home. Lately it's stopping halfway through the charging process, it forces me to turn off the breakers and reset it.
I did some research and it seems like an installation issue.
Again, it's a solid red light.

Thoughts?

thanks!

It may be building up resistance (and thus heat) while charging and then tripping a safety stop. I'd try turning off the power at the breaker to the unit, then remove the cover from the charger (I'm sure Mr YouTube can help), and then look at the wires where they go into the charger from the wall, and out to the charging cable. Do they look melted? Take a screwdriver and try to tighten them down...these should be pretty tight. Reassemble and try again.

Anything more than that and I'd seek professional help.

I'd also do a google search and see what turns up for this behavior...

Use a torque driver to check the terminal screws. Should be set to 50 inch pounds. This is actually a lot to set with a regular screwdriver.

Also check the terminals of the breaker itself. Those screws can loosen with heat cycles as well.
