I posted this in the thread about R1Ts barely fitting in a garage, but thought I would make a separate post. In my case I literally have less than about 6” of total wiggle room. Years ago we had an incident in which a car wasn’t pulled in enough and the garage door was closed. As the garage door closed, the hinges caught on the car and left a nice 2-3” deep vertical scratch. With how tight my situation is I looked for a solution to help protect my R1T in the event something like that were to happen.
I eventually found the following product that is pretty straight forward that provides a level of protection. I needed the silicon adapter due to the width of my hinges.

I’m in no way associated with this company, but figured I would share since it was surprisingly difficult to find a product like this. I saw where some people would do something like zip tie a pole noodle to the hinge, but this seems like a better solution that won’t slip if contact occurs.
