Yes - all was good. Actually received the lost hood emblem the other day also. Pretty sure they only way to get that off is by breaking the plastic retaining clips. They gave me the old one back and it was missing the two clips that slot into the hood. Dropping it back off today for hood re wrap and re tint of rear window that was replaced - then this mess should be done and I can just enjoy it!
That's good news to know it'll all be done soon. What color is your R1T? I love what the Stealth did for the Launch Green and have enjoyed seeing pics of other colors with Stealth applied. I'd love it if you could post pictures of it when they're through with it. Also, I'd appreciate pics of the front and back of the Compass hood emblem. I think I heard there were two non-matching posts to go through the skin of the hood, and that double-sided automotive tape holds it in place.
There are some pics of mine on page 1 of this thread - the silver R1T. I will try to snap a pic of the emblem before I drop today at my detailer - but yes - there are two posts of differing shapes that slot into the hood. You wouldn't technically need them, but it just dummy proofs the emblem so there is no other way it could set on the hood.

The ceramic goes over the PPF. It basically just keeps dirt or basically anything from sticking to the wrap (or the paint if you do ceramic and no PPF). You can put ceramic on basically anything. He did my entire vehicle except the bed cover. This is the brand my detailer used, but there are many on the market....
Good to hear. From what you're saying, it sounds like the matted finish of the Stealth still looks like it did before the ceramic was applied, correct? If so, I'll likely have ceramic applied to mine.

The name of the place I went to is M2MDetail in Upland right across from Cable airport ( https://m2mdetail.com/ ) I used Suntek which has the self healing properties for light scratches. It turned out great he hid the seams where ever he could for most of it you can't even tell that it has been wrapped. I did the whole truck as I plan to go off roading and want to avoid pin striping as much as I can. He does do the less costly approach of front PPF and Ceramic coating for the rest. Which I would suggest to do as the front nose of the truck is a big flat target for rock chips. Mine was roughly $7000 for PPF part which was the whole truck it took him 2 days. I also got other stuff like coating of the plastic as it will begin to fade like all plastic does in the sun if not protected. he also tinited my windows which makes a huge difference. so needless to say the price will vary depending on how much you want him to do. I think the PPF for the front and Ceramic coating was going to be about $3,000 but I opt'd to do the whole thing. and I wish I would have done it sooner as I got a ding in the headlight the day before I took it to him.
if you Ceramic the PPF does the PPF still maintain the self healing properties for light scratches. seams this would be an issue. as the stated scratches are reduced but just wondering the impact on PPF
Just had the front and tailgate PPF'd today. Was done at my house, looks... invisible. But not as stealthy as your wrap. Looks great man.
I don't have a good answer on that. They are both warrantied for 10 years, so not really a concern for me either way. Just an aside, my detail guy made it sound like at their shop, if you get PPF, they alway put ceramic over it. Not sure if that is standard for PPF people or just his shop. They do wraps for all the Sewell dealerships in the Houston area.
