I don’t think so… we have a home on the beach and driving on the beach is permissible… so my R1T has seen plenty of sand… no issues… I am guessing ice is a much bigger problem… as for AZ. We don’t have sandstorms in S Texas… the year I lived in Gilbert AZ… beautiful, but the sand storms were a trip…

My upgraded PTC failed after 9 or 10 months. I don't think it ever saw any snow or ice. Or much debris on top. But dust is all around.
