I really hate to post another thread about PaaK / proximity unlock, but have noticed since yesterday (January 1) my truck randomly unlocked itself several times sitting in the driveway out front. Once I was in the garage and heard it (truck chirped outside of garage), the other times I saw it on my security cameras (because the lights came on). I did not have my phone or fob in my possession at any of these times and was not physically near the truck when it occurred. My phone and fob were inside on the opposite side of the house (about 40' and one brick wall away). Additionally I have my settings to "Lock at home" so it should never do a proximity unlock at home.
Last time it did it was this morning at 1:45am (noticed because I could see the lights on my security cameras). After that I went outside and disabled all of the proximity unlock settings.
Just seems weird. Prox unlock has worked great for me the past nine months. No major issues. Truck is usually in the garage, but have parked it in the driveway before and not noticed this. It's almost like it thinks it's not at home and reading a faint signal from my phone or fob (in the house) and unlocking itself. I even tried to reset the "home" location, just in case it forgot where it was.
Have a service ticket in to ask if they can "pull the logs" and find out why it woke up at 1:45am. Am sure Rivian support is equally annoyed with "another dumb question about PaaK", LOL. ?
